Rebirth Safe Slots (Sep 6, 2026)
The official Discord announced Rebirth Safe Slots on September 6, 2026 — the biggest change to the rebirth loop since the August 31 setup-unlock fix.
How Rebirth Safe Slots work
- Pick desks to keep. Every time you rebirth, you can now choose desks to SAVE and carry into your next rebirth, instead of losing the whole layout.
- One free safe slot per rebirth after rebirth 3. From your third rebirth onward, each rebirth grants +1 free safe slot, so long-term players bank more and more of their setup.
- The official announcement calls back to the August 31 change (setups no longer lock after rebirthing) — together the two changes turn rebirth from a full reset into a managed transition.
What it means for your studio
- Protect your money-makers first. High-earning desks are the obvious first pick for a safe slot; decor and filler desks can be rebuilt.
- Plan rebirth 3 as the milestone. The free-slot engine only starts after rebirth 3, so the first three rebirths still play like a reset.
The 56K admin abuse record
The announcement landed the day after the September 5 admin abuse event peaked at 56,000 concurrent players — the game’s all-time high, per the developer’s thank-you post in the official Discord. Safe slots read like a direct answer to that surge: new players hitting their first rebirth now keep a foothold instead of starting from zero.
