Ethereal Event Guide (Sep 2026)

UPDATE 7 went live in Stream A Cheese Pull on September 16, 2026 (after a one-hour polish delay), announced by developer Cakestax in the official Giddy Games Discord. Here is everything the announcement covers.

Ethereal Event

The headline feature is the Ethereal Event:

• Ethereal Eggs are added to the game.
• Hidden inside them is the Ethereal Dragon Overlord at a posted 0.1% chance — the announcement spells it out as “(0.1%!!!!!)”, so expect a long grind if you are hunting for it.

Crate tiers: Gold, Diamond and Emerald

Crates now come in three tiers — Gold, Diamond and Emerald. According to the developer this tier system is what “basically added 100 new desks” to the game, giving long-term players far more desk slots to work through.

Other additions

• 20 new decor items to furnish your stream setup.
• A new Ancient Crate, available for Robux only.
• A batch of bug fixes.

Desk multiplier nerf

The desk multiplier got a nerf. The developer is explicit that it is still uncapped — you can still push multipliers to extreme numbers, but “it’s a lot harder to max out desks to crazy amounts” than before. Combined with the crate tiers and the September 15 removal of the setup cap, the endgame is now about grinding tiers rather than one giant multiplier.

Codes

UPDATE 7 shipped without a new code. The currently working codes are listed on our codes page — Dino (free Dino Egg) and FirstCodeEver (Blue Cheese Crate).
